Promotional work with the Chemical Brothers... ⚡️⚡️ Early lovely job for Mixmag to promote their 2002 album ‘ Come with Us’. ⚡️⚡️ The concept was a journey through time to find a hidden utopia, using the song titles within the imagery. Journey / Test / Eye / Star Guitar, Africa etc... ⚡️⚡️ Due to the psychedelic vibe, l want to have a perforated gridded cover. This to represent an acid Blotter sheet. Only to be told the budget won’t allow it and sadly a visual imitation offering was rejected too. But Magazine loved the Utopian Journey which was a win! ⚡️⚡️ Spent a day with Ed and Tom at a Photography studio near Farringdon. New pencil work continues to show London bridges. ⚫️ Title _  Man Sunbathing on Tower Bridge ⚫️ The Title of this art piece is inspired by an event that took place in June 2019, when a man climbed onto one of the support beams of Tower Bridge. He stripped down to his black shorts and lay down to soak up the sun. 🟡 The police closed the bridge, and after an hour, he jumped into the Thames where he was recovered unharmed. ⚫️ The Original is Graphite on 160gsm Heritage Paper, 86cmx71cm.
