I'm not tidying my studio for this Sunday's event - well, not entirely. Visitors can see my process, including a bit of real studio messiness. I've thought about this a lot over the past few years of Open Studios, and decided that rather than doing traditional open studios where everything is tidy and looks lovely - it's time to let visitors see what really happens in my studio. 🎉 If you're local, and you'd like to come and have a look, you can find me at 19 Church Close, Whittlesford, CB22 4NY. 🎉 There will be framed paintings on display, a browser filled with my Making Headspace Sale paintings and sketches, greetings cards, cake and coffee and if we're lucky, some sunshine. 🎉 Step into the space where the creativity happens and let's have some great arty conversations. I am aiming to hold two or three more Studio. Drop-in days this year so if you want to stay in the know - add your name to my email list to get the announcements delivered to your inbox. The painting in this image is inspired by a small prunus tree in the Whittlesford churchyard. It is set against the red brick of the adjacent walled garden: radiant red tones surrounded by lush green and deep shadows. ....
