Former Comanchero OMCG Boss Nikola Maksimovic today lost his appeal against his 24 year jail conviction for importing 56kg of meth.
The 37 year old, who used the code names “Ethnic Brad Pitt” and “The Gingerbread Man,” will be eligible for parole in 2043. If his parole is rejected, he will celebrate his 57th birthday in prison.

Today the Lights and Sirens game took center stage at @optusstadium
The @freodockers celebrated the ongoing hard work of WA’s Emergency Services, expressing gratitude to the first responders who tirelessly keep our state safe.
Football fans arrived early, eager to witness the frontline workers on full display outside Optus Stadium. The WA Police Force stood alongside @stjohnwa and the @dfes_wa . Various areas of policing were showcased, including the Police Air Wing, motorbikes, horses, boats, and, of course, police puppies. Constable Care and PCYC were also present, engaging with the WA community. The world-renowned WA Police Pipe Band played a live performance before the bounce and during the game.

A brave tight-knit team who fearlessly protected their community from an active armed shooter and a tenacious detective sergeant who achieved justice for a long-suffering victim of domestic violence are among those who have been recognised for their dedication to the people of Western Australia.
Ten teams and eight individuals have emerged as winners amongst sea of worthy nominees in the inaugural WA Police Force Recognition of Excellence Awards held this morning.
Among the winners are Kellerberrin Police Station and Detective Sergeant Annette Herod, who have each been hand selected by the Commissioner of Police to receive the prestigious ‘Brilliance in Policing Award’.

On Wednesday 5 June 2024, Police officers and detectives from the Fremantle District, with the assistance of Canine officers, conducted a Day of Action as part of their ongoing daily efforts to locate, apprehend, and arrest, people committing criminal offences in the Fremantle District. 👮
Results for the day were:
• 195 interactions with members of the local community and retailers
• 37 people searched
• 19 drug items and paraphernalia seized
• 34 arrests
• 44 charges laid (relating to drugs, weapons, stealing, trespass, and others)
• 3 vehicle stops
• 2 weapons seized
