May God bless and shield your family! As an Autism mom most won’t get it. We are our child’s ONLY sole caregivers. The system is not built to help the disabled. Once a child “ages out” at 22 they phase out of special-needs care, therapy and assistance. It’s just geared more towards job placement. Like jobs at Goodwill etc. The disability does not STOP when they get older. They still face cognitive challenges. Some adults with autism still have issues with basic home care like baths, bathroom etc. Y’all are really after this man for wanting to care for his kids in this life AND after.
