Tuesday Leftover Makeover

I got back home around 8 and did a quick recce of the fridge. Swipe to see a picture of what I found.

The children were happy to have Cutlets (I wonder why) and the Dal Dosas again. However, after having eaten the remnants of our Sunday lunch for 2 more days,
@mcsachin was ready for something else.

I decided to toss the leftover Rice with the Vankaya Pachadi with a tempering that included Peanuts and Sesame and make a Kalanda Saadam of sorts.
.
I sautéed some Onion Tomato paste with
@roopakspices Dal Makhani Masala and
@maggiindia Masala-e-Magic and added the leftover Dosakaya Pappu to it. When everything had cooked together for 4-5 minutes, I added a tablespoon of
@bullafamilydairy Cream and continued to simmer the Dal for a couple of minutes.

I made some Parathas with the mixed vegetable Paratha dough. With the Cutlets and Curd, it looked like a full fledged Thali
.
And just like that, we had a meal that was different from what I cooked on Sunday. One that didn’t feel like “leftovers”.
