Was so happy to see my old friend Kulji after so long ..(who has played my husband in 2 lovely films .. Pinjar & Delhi in a Day ) .. a superb actor and an even nicer human being!At a performance of a wonderful play ‘kaagaz ke gubbare ‘ based on Ismat Chugtai’s writing & stories ( her brilliant pen never fails to delight and amaze me!)by Padatik Kolkata, brought down by my dear friend and theatre lover Omer Haider.A fantastic ensemble of actors ( who also sang wonderfully ) enacted a beautifully devised telling of the stories !Congrats to Anubha Fatehpuria who devised and directed it with a completely fresh new take!Was also so happy to meet other co actors I’ve worked with, but hardly ever get to see, living on the other side of town..thanks Omer, Aziz and the team for a lovely evening ! ️
