Happy Monday!! There are some new faces around here so I figured it was time to re-introduce myself! 🤓I’m Nicole, an almost 43 year old Mom of 3 kids with big age gaps! Married to my handsome husband for 20 years this year! 💞My oldest daughter is 24 and launched 💪🏽 😂my second daughter is 18 and on her way to being launched😂, then my son is 9💙he’s my baby! This is my office space where I spend my time working on calligraphy orders! I am updating my website so I can be clear on what I offer. I love doing calligraphy place cards, menus, seating charts, invitations, wedding signage. I no longer do chalkboards because I can’t handle the stress of it and measuring everything out 😂I know that being a creative entrepreneur can be stressful, and if you’re anything like me, it’s a struggle to keep your self care a priority and a non negotiable! Because first I have to work on (fill in the blank) before I workout... or clean my house before I work on orders b/c I can’t think in a dirty house! I need that ambiance and that candle lit 🤣 (not always the case, this is just me avoiding a workout) oh another fun fact, I’ve been a CrossFit certified coach since 2009 (no longer coaching) but I have a garage gym.. yet have a hard time walking 10 steps into my garage 😂 anyway, here you’ll find calligraphy and stationery stuff, along with life and home decor, recipes, some workout motivation, and all the things lovely with some real life sprinkled in 🤪anyway, I love this community and I love that many of you have reached out to work together or order stationery goods! 💕 I love supporting other local entrepreneurs! Dad❤️it’s been 10 days since you left to be with the Lord. The weight of your absence and the void I feel is beyond heavy. Even though I know you are no longer suffering, the finality of your absence feels indescribable. Thank you to all the vendors who’ve extended grace as I have been by my Dad’s side for the last few months in hospice. You can never prepare yourself for the loss of a parent. I will always need my Dad❤️one of my favorite memories was when I was in second grade, he labeled all my crayola large markers with my name in case any got lost🥹❤️ok another memory is when I was about 11 he got me my first pager, and would spend hours explaining the different tiers of emergencies and when to page him 😂I miss you immensely Dad.
There is such beauty in simplicity! All the earthy and organic vibes for H+A who were National Park enthusiasts! 🌳 Lots of wood stands for their signage (thanks to Mr. altogether lovely 🤩) modern simple fonts, and a fabric tapestry seating chart with national park pins for guests!
