interelliptic.info ⋮ is a nomadic residency platform revolving around the interception of ten young artists and interdisciplinary practitioners working within an open, itinerant and process-based exhibition structure. The project, first taking place from 10.06. - 15.07. in the Southern Balkans at Galeria e Bregdetit (Vlora) and in collaboration with Foundation 17 (Prishtina), culminates from 22.10. - 17.11. at Lothringer 13 Halle (Munich), and is accompanied by lectures, screenings, concerts, cooking and listening sessions alongside the exhibitions. ⋮ is developed by Andrea Veselá and Martin Huber in exchange with Elian Stefa and Alex Niku Muçaj, Nita Zeqiri and Fitore Isufi Shukriu, Lisa Brizger, Rosa Luckow and Tesa Kabashi. The project is supported by Akademieverein München, BBK Bayern, Goethe Zentrum Tirana and Goethe Zentrum Prishtina. On the second day of VAM'24 we had the opportunity to collect our conclusions and present them to the Deputy Minister and other delegates of @meki.gov.al . With several significant achievements such as the formation of an interim Board of five organizations which will take the lead on continuing the work laid out at VAM'24, and the formation of three working groups which will focus on working on the statute, finding funding, and organizing the next general meeting in December of 2024, the collective managed to present a consolidated and unified stance to the Ministry. In turn the Deputy Minister @lirapipa responded with several of the initiatives that the newly formed @meki.gov.al is taking to assist and grow the local art scene which were very well received by the present organizations. A tighter collaboration between the official authorities and the indipendent stakeholders of the scene was established as a significant goal moving forward from all sides. Vlora Art Meeting 2024 was organized by Galeria e Bregdetit and made possible with the support of the @artnexusprogramme .

Between 23 - 25 May 2024, over 20 organizations of the Albanian contemporary and visual arts scene converged at VAM'24, with the aim to discuss common priorities as a collective, and to organize ourselves better towards policymakers and funders. Organized by Galeria e Bregdetit and made possible by the support of the @artnexusprogramme , this seminal event was deemed as highly important by all participants, as a possible catalyst for the scene and the future of its stakeholders.
