It’s time to introduce her to the world. I’ve been working on this album since June, but really for the past ten years. Some of these songs go back to 2012 and it was time to reimagine them, some of them are from six months ago and barely squeaked in. It’s been ten years of growing and changing in my music and in myself and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with the world.
I could never have done this without the shared dedication and creative energy of @candlereviews@zcsabatelli and @andrewbaughman3 sharing the whole journey and putting their hours and emotions into the songs.
A special thanks to @myla.chae and @darrint155 for taking a weekend to lay down tracks and adding to the album. ♥️

STORY TIME:
This guitar was handed down to me from my dad. Although, I don’t know if he knew at the time he was doing that. I sat for hours on my bedroom floor learning Taylor Swift, Dixie Chicks, and the occasional My Chemical Romance song on it. Every song I’ve ever written started on this guitar. It’s one of my favorite objects in the world. ❤️
I left my job in October to pursue a life more balanced with music and design through freelance. It was hard but it was working out. I was able to finish my album and celebrate its release before being approached with a new opportunity. One I was excited for and didn’t want to pass up, but taking the job felt a little bit like giving up on what I set out to do. In some ways it made me feel like a failure.
Happy to report I’m five months in, and it’s been great. Finding a job that appreciates a life balance and celebrates creativity outside of its walls has been an amazing blessing. They even gave me these amazing portraits. Everyone was asked to bring in an object that represents who they are. It took me .001 seconds to think of mine.
