In 2024, “centrism” isn’t cautious, it’s reckless. It creates the conditions under which the radical racist right is surging. Fight the far right by redistributing ill-gotten gains of pandemic profiteers + polluters to pay for Green New Deal-style programs. That’s pragmatic.
