CONVOCATION 🎓 OCADU CLASS OF 2024 The journey that I embarked on 6 years ago has finished and it’s been an incredibly nourishing and growing experience. As an international student pursuing Photography major, I was privileged enough to have learned all aspects of what the photo department has to offer. All the cage monitors and technicians had my back whenever I needed help. The professors were very supportive and insightful, and it was an honour to have learned from them. The passionate and talented thesis classmates were the best anyone could’ve asked for. OCAD U has been a blessing to my career and to my life. I couldn’t be more grateful for what I achieved and received. It’s my turn now to return some value to the world. Thank you. . . . Alum Maurice Vellekoop @mauricevellekoop is a celebrated cartoonist and illustrator whose career spans nearly 40 years and includes such clients as The New Yorker, Vanity Fair and Criterion.
