There are two things we were looking to do .
First we wanted to go away from 'agenda of the world'. To a place where there were no advertisements, no honking of cars, no noise, air and sound pollution. Our children's senses are overloaded in our cities. Our minds are overloaded and it is imp we find time and space to calm our nervous system down.
Secondly, we are buying more things than making them. This wasn't the case till about 30 years ago. There is no problem with buying but what is happening is that kids are working less and less with their hands and bodies. They are becoming less able - less confident of being able to do physical things themselves.
Which is why we went to
