Harvard Art Museums

Last week, we capped a month of celebrating our outgoing director, Martha Tedeschi, including a retirement celebration with Harvard Interim President Alan Garber. Martha, who has led the museums since 2016, oversaw acclaimed exhibitions and major acquisitions, guided the organization through the pandemic, and advocated for new admission initiatives, culminating in a free admission policy beginning in June 2023. Martha, we are so grateful for your leadership and wish you much happiness in your retirement.
