i did it anyway 🥰
when i started dancing i fell in love with it because it made me feel seen and understood. as i got older i realized my body wasn’t “ideal” (in some people’s opinion) for this industry. i decided to take the jump anyway because i couldn’t imagine doing anything else and i am so glad i did. i have done things baby amanda wouldn’t have even dreamt of all while staying true to myself. this industry is not an easy one to be in and i just hope i am making a difference and inspiring people like me. there is a loooooong way to go as far as true inclusivity and diversity goes in dance but i am glad to see the progress that has been made the past couple years. thank you baby amanda for choosing your dream and not giving up. that passion was put in you for a reason never forget that. i hope i am making you proud. 💗 #breakingthestereotype always.

So i did a thing...🎓
After I got my bachelors degree a couple years ago I thought I was done with school (lol), but shortly after I decided to go back to further my education and I am so glad I did. Pursuing dance full time and earning this degree was challenging but rewarding in so many ways. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to my graduation ceremony in Illinois, but I am so proud to say I now have an MBA!!! Also, the biggest thank you to my momma for being the most supportive person throughout this process. I couldn't have done it without you. 🩷
