KÉRASTASE EDUCATION BOOK: 2023 ⬜️👩🏼🦳

In 2023 we were contracted to redesign the KÉRASTASE EDUCATION DIGITAL BOOK, injecting colour into this interactive digital book, to be used by their education teams nationally. 🤍
We used the brand packaging colours as a base for the colour palette of vibrant accent colours, contrasted against the cool tones of the greyscale images. ⚫️🟪🟩🟧💗⬜️

Love when a client has AHMAZING assets to work with… and their photos were exquisite. It was a huge job with so much data entry, intricate formatting of the typography to ensure all the info needed fit in the tables… aesthetically, and the cross checking of the dates, events, scheduling and all that key info over and over again. Naturally a job with this much typography means we called in the big guns - proudly collaborating with @kgcreative.co on this brief!

MERRY CHRISTMAS BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE.
This Christmas, however, is not Christmasing so instead, here is a look back at one of the most festive briefs we’ve worked on as part of a 3 year contract with @chadstone_fashion ! 🎄🍉🎄

THE CHADSTONE CHRISTMAS STORIES 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

The way that this contact grew year after year! The first year we were contracted to design the logo for the Christmas Stories and create a poster design that would be modified to suit varied onsite applications.
.
The following year, we helped create the character design, designed the costumes as well as two separate set designs and the marketing campaign, which for that year included a completely illustrated animation! We also got to design the official Chadstone Christmas Mascot, CHAD the teddy bear! 🧸
.
.
And for the final year we created a whole magical kingdom, and as well all the brief components of the previous years, we were also commissioned to illustrated 5 different whimsical scenes to captivate childrens’ imaginations. We wanted to transport them to this magical kingdom through all print and digital media, the animation, and through a huge rotating scenic drum on stage as part of the set design.

We haven’t been posting much on here because the past couple of months have been a challenge. On a personal, work and mental health level 2023 has been the toughest… but what has been happening in the world since October has left us heartbroken on a whole other level.

But we remain hopeful. Hoping that December brings with it some peace, happy endings and no more tears. Here is to hoping that children are not collateral damage for insatiable greed, that the worlds’ eyes are opened… and stay open, and that much needed change is near. Hoping for love to overshadow hate, for kindness to prevail, and for humanity to shine through the rubble. And most importantly, for the tough lessons of 2023 to set up the path of a happier, safer and more connected 2024.
