It is with a heavy heart that I share the heartbreaking news of the passing of my dear friend and fellow designer, Corey Woods. From the moment we met at the FIT Design Entrepreneur Showroom, our chemistry was undeniable. We supported each other, believed in each other, and became each other’s biggest fans.
Corey, you made every day at the showroom an adventure with your larger-than-life persona, your spontaneous singing, and your flamboyant looks. Your dancing and swirls were nothing short of magical. You were my confidant and accomplice, and you always knew how to make me laugh until my sides hurt.
Just a few weeks ago, we had a long, heartfelt conversation, catching up on life and planning our future collaborations. We dreamed of creating a signature eyewear line under my brand and showcasing your incredible designs at my store. We laughed, vented, and reassured each other that we would achieve all our dreams.
Corey, I will miss you dearly and will always keep you in my heart. Thank you for the joy, the laughter, and the unforgettable memories. Rest in peace, my friend. 💔✨
