Exciting things are happening at Dover Castle 👀
Opening on 22 July, see the story of the 1216 Siege brought to life in the castle’s northern defences. Travel underground through the medieval tunnels. Then head outside and explore the new play area 🎉

Did you know that there's been a stunning garden at Walmer Castle since 1725? Although, people have speculated that it could've been established as far back as the 16th century, when a small area of land belonged to the castle! 🌷

When Sir William St John Hope excavated the east end of the church at Kirkham Priory the site was privately owned. Photographs show the ruins overgrown with ivy, and the cloister laid out as a tennis court.

Waltzing around Witley Court 💃🎶
We’re thrilled to reveal that we have found and reproduced a lost piece of music named after the ruined Witley Court in Worcestershire, once deemed ‘the Versailles of the West’.
Live renditions of the Whitley Court Waltz will be performed for visitors at Witley Court this weekend ☀️
