Top tip!…..I bought some ridiculously cheap oil paint in The Range. Two colours - olive green and viridian. Thought I’d have a play and see just how different they are to the tubes we normally pay £20-30 plus for. Both are intensely coloured and the olive green is gorgeous! Just my colour. The tubes are cheap and plasticy but the tops screw on easily unlike some of the expensive brands which loose thread after a while. So I’m impressed- surely there s a down side (and the reason we normally spend a fortune) but I haven’t discovered it yet! Definitely recommend, even if only used for practice pieces and experimenting - £2.99 a tube!
