NEWCASTLE IT’S TIME! 3 days until we see you all hit the Lakeside stage again! We are so excited! A few little reminders for the event this weekend: 1. @jrd_dance_media will be present to take your videos 2. @jamesbeggsimaging will be there taking all your photos 3. There is only a spectator fee for groups which is $10pp and must be paid at the door before entry. We have cash or card facilities available for you. SOLOS ARE FREE TO WATCH 4. There will be a canteen on site - this will be cash or card as well (not ran by us as it’s a fundraising opportunity for a local dance school) 5. This year we have a live schedule for you to follow along so you can keep up to date when not on site and make sure you are at the comp in time to perform. This link will be emailed on Friday to you all. Studios please feel free to pass this on to your group performers. 6. Improvisations (free to enter on the day) and awards are at the end of each session 7. NO changing in the hall 8. We have checked and downloaded all music and it is all fine but please have a backup on your phone incase anything were to happen 9. Please remember to bring your best sportsmanship! 10. Please be reminded that to be eligible to participate in a “My First Solo” section at Lakeside Dance Challenge it must be your very first time on stage. If you have competed in a competition as a soloist before you attend our event you must contact us so we can move you to a rising star section instead. If we are made aware you have done this and have not notified us, you will immediately loose points for being entered into the incorrect section. We specifically made this level to make it an encouraging and fair experience for those doing their first ever solo competition.

Saturday 29th June: 4-12yrs solos FULL (closed) Sunday 30th June: Groups and 13/o solos 80% FULL 📍Irrawang High School - Raymond Terrace ALL ENTRIES CLOSE NEXT SUNDAY MAY 26. However they will close earlier if capacity is hit sooner. Don’t delay getting your entries in!!
