🔥STREET SQUAD AT WORLD SUPREMACY BATTLEGROUNDS 🔥
What an AMAZING experience for 44 of our Street Squad dancers who spent last week in Sydney competing at World Supremacy Battlegrounds.
It was a full on few days! But I’m so proud of every dancer who put 100% into preparing for the stage and their performance ❤

Soloists Emily, Patea, Sian, Ella B, Ella P and Duo Insync (Holly and Zoie) competed in the Sydney Battlegrounds event to qualify for World champs the next day. And a HUGE congrats as they all scored high enough to Qualify!! 🎉 Special mention to those who placed top three:

Soloists Alexi, Leah and Mercy and our five Street Squad crews had qualified for finals in March. Together with those who qualified in Sydney I was so proud to see them perform on a world stage against amazing crews from across Australia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines. 🎉AND we’ve come home with medals!! 🎉

DAY THREE: PART TWO
Our Squad crews Street Squad varsity, Squad 24 and Squad 24 junior smashed it out of the park and came away with stellar results🤍 (coming in part three)
Massive well done also to our dancers who competed in the 1v1 battles and congrats to Neeraja and Patea ranking in the top 16!!! 🫨🫨

DAY THREE: PART ONE 🫶🏼
Day three was JAM PACKED and we could not be prouder with all of our dancers AMAZING results. They worked hard from start to finish and left it all on the stage at battlegrounds @wsbstreet ❤️
Session one Junior division was MASSIVE with the solo junior being one of the biggest sections with 30 competitors 🫨🫨 it was a tough section but all of our junior soloists smashed it out of the park along with our Street squad junior and 4 elements 🤍

‼️ DAY TWO WHĀNAU ‼️
Today was HARD OUT. Our street squad dancers put in the work for their stage runs representing New Zealand proudly where ever they went. The focus was on and the dancing amazing 🫶🏼
Later in the evening we had the preliminary qualifiers which offers dancers the chance to rank up into the finals the following day. there was some SPECTACULAR DANCING 💃🏽 across the board and we came away with some awesome results!
