Translated from Greek, @iptamenosdiscos means ‘flying saucer’ or ‘flying disc’ — a testament to the record label’s commitment to cosmic rhythms and sci-fi-inspired synth lines. Founded in 2021 by the Greco-German duo Vamparela and Brax Moody, better known as local suicide, Iptamenos Discos was devised with the vision of releasing music that the pair “could listen to on repeat for days on end.” Over their few years of operations, they’ve built up a toothsome discography of dark techno, EBM, and indie dance gems from a plethora of talented acts. We caught up with the label founders to learn more about their imprint’s no-compromise philosophy and to point out some of Iptamenos Discos’ most essential tracks. Watch the video below.
