The first few days of vacation have been wild to say the least…had a beautiful drive from Seattle over to the east side to Yakima yesterday…stopped in E-burg to visit Mike’s old stopping grounds at Central Washington! The kids loved touring a college campus and getting to see where Mike played football and ran track! Woke up today and the boys headed out to watch the
@earlbardenclassic practices…Alexa and I walked downtown and enjoyed a cooler morning…a wildfire broke out down the road and we spent the afternoon driving around town as the entire power grid was shutdown due to an emergency de-energization from the rapidly spreading wildfire … we are safe and the evacuation order in the area has been lowered from a level 3 to a level 2…power was restored and we headed to the trampoline park to move around a bit. Alexa busted out some news skills and Paxton loosened his muscles from his Wednesday workout 🤣…we had an amazing steak dinner and got in our birthday/mothers day/Father’s Day celebrations in at a local spot! Left with full hearts and tummies..We ended the evening back with the kids judging a belly flop contest for the East-West boys!
