Speaker testing day! 🔊 I’ve been using Genelec’s speakers in studio and at home for work and entertainment since the 90’s, and just couldn’t do music and sound without them any more. Generally they have worked amazingly well, my studio speakers are something like 25 years old and never had a single problem. But lately I noticed there is something strange with my home speakers, so I did some tests and measurements and sure enough, two of them don’t sound like they should. Fortunately Genelec has a great repair service, but unfortunately it’s located at their factory which is a loooong drive from my place, so I have to carefully pack and mail the speakers, which is not among my favourite things. I really wish they’d open a repair shop in Helsinki, not that I need it very often, but when I do, I’d rather just take the speakers there myself instead of having to rely on the mail service. But well, as long as they get fixed, no major complaints. (Disclaimer: This post is not sponsored by Genelec or anyone else.) @genelec_oy

DAS verstehe ich nur zu gut. Meine Lautsprecher sind auch meine ‚Babies‘ 😉 und ich gebe sie nur ungern in fremde Hände.

Yo Genelec, listen… for the price of fixing those speakers, get Cap and others to do more of those Genelec cover sessions. Thank you kindly!😊🙏

I have Gentle speakers in my home studio too, hope I won't have to send them for repairs anytime soon (or ever) cause it's going to be a pain doing it from a different country 😅

Service is great. For unknown reason we have had to send many speakers to Iisalmi and it has been fast and professional maintenance.
