Rehearsing with Cane-Man-Dala at @joensuunkonservatorio , the first school I attended for professional music studies some 20 years ago (and before that for some hobby classes). The building has changed, but hearing the acoustics, I have no longing for the past. Some good things are still there, though! There’s my old drum teacher, Jari Lappalainen, behind the cans! And the man on the bass, Timo Pekonen, also led our rock ensemble (among other bad influence) back in the days.
But enough with the nostalgia! On Wednesday I have the rare opportunity of sitting in for a few songs at Takapiharock. Good times guaranteed!
