I totally agree with you 100 percent. That what I have my guys do, but I know that that newer Hunter road force it will switch automatically to a static for weight placement. (I have my guys turn off this feature because I also noticed such a variance in weight request between static and dynamic on bigger tires. LT etc.

@matchmountking it's called the "SmartWeight" feature. The balance will automatically swap to from a dynamic balancing to Static based on variances and input from the scanning of the wheel and tire assembly. Next time I'm at the shop, I'll take a video of it and shoot it over.
