Wave shaping? What’s that? 🤔
Have you ever come across that term? Maybe unconsciously used it without knowing? That’s what happened to me and I dug into it. There are many explanations and techniques out there and probably there’s no really wrong or right one. I hope I could explain it well. But the way I understand it is altering the shape of the waveform. It’s kind of a saturation technique. I find it works best with simple forms like sine saw or square. On vocals or more complex things it sounds weird mostly.
It’s super powerful and can lead to awesome sounds!
