For over 20 years, we’ve called this southwest suburb of Chicago, home! I’ve raised my kids in this quiet and safe suburb and we’ve all become a huge part of this tight-knit community via various schools and organizations.
Orland Park, IL is home to about 60,000 people and dubbed “World’s Golf Center” with over 1,000 holes within a 15-mile radius.
Some big draws are Centennial Park & Aquatic Center as well as the super popular Orland Square Mall. It also boasts tons of restaurants, shops and cafes. Best of all it’s a short ride (under an hour) train ride into downtown Chicago!
A few famous folks that hail from here are Dan Hampton, defensive end for the Chicago Bears 1985 Super Bowl; Bill Rancic, winner of Apprentice, season one and co-founder of the RPM restaurant chain; and Chicago blues legend, Buddy Guy.
