#ArchitizerAwards : Bunkie on the Hill by Dubbeldam Architecture + Design
This season,
@dubbeldamarch received their 7th A+Award for the "Bunkie on the Hill" project. This contemporary cabin reimagines the traditional A-frame design with a split roof featuring intersecting gables.
The unique design allows for curated views of the treetops and lake and invites natural light to flood the interior. The cabin’s sustainable construction, including FSC-rated wood, thickened insulated walls and minimal environmental impact, reflects Dubbeldam's philosophy of high-quality, sustainable design.
