It can be easy to fall into only playing the role of “mom” it felt nice to dress up, go out to lunch, dinner and take time ordering our food. The leisure of being able to lay in bed and not have responsibilities felt heavenly.
The first day/night was hard and we were both missing our boys but at the same time it was amazing to spend a few nights away from our babes 💙💙💙.
A getaway to Monterey with the husband was much needed before I get into a busier season of work 🤰
