The single for Part II of the Forever Morning journey drops today. ‘The Fighting’ represents the heart of the conflict in our story, in some ways mirrored in my own life in the writing process. When conflict naturally arises in our lives, (some conflict far more dire than others), as we see wars and unnecessary suffering at an unimaginable scale… “the shells explode and the smoke is in your eyes.” And in those moments we’re faced with impossible choices - “will you run and hide, or stumble closer to the fighting?” While there’s clearly no good answer, you move forward, you do your best to find a way through and find meaning and purpose.
You have to turn this one up, folks.
