On this day in 1984, Prince released his record-breaking sixth studio album Purple Rain. To mark the 40th anniversary, Prince’s 2015 @officialpaisleypark Remaster is now available via NPG Records on 140g Purple Splatter vinyl. This special limited edition of the LP includes a mirrorboard sleeve, in addition to the original inner sleeve and poster.
