Tomorrow the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington is performing at The Kennedy Center, in what is arguably the most ambitious piece they’ve ever done. Through original commissions of visual art, music, and dance, PORTRAITS represents the vibrant spectrum of sexual, gender, racial, ethnic, and cultural identities in a brand-new nine-movement oratorio. While Seasons of Love won’t be performing as an ensemble, many of us will be singing with the full chorus. Come prepared to be challenged, moved, and blown away.
