You’d think it would be impossible to find a guy who has gills, was in a Fresca cult, and has “working in a grocery store in Sandusky, Ohio” on his resumé.
But then there’s The Deep, portrayed by Chace Crawford on “The Boys,” who is the show’s super funny and ultra pathetic version of DC’s very own King of Atlantis.
The dysfunctional aquatic superhero has been through plenty over the show’s first three seasons—the chaos can’t be described, only witnessed—and the 38-year-old says there’s a “great storyline” to come throughout the next batch of superhero-centric episodes (whether they involve more sexual relations with another soft-bodied mollusc is to be determined).
