I felt so authentically and genuinely, “me” on our special day. When we started planning the weekend, I didn’t want anyone to feel any bit of stress, including me. It’s a big reason I opted for an intimate wedding ceremony. The stress just didn’t sound appealing to me. I had a vision of how I wanted to style myself. I wanted to keep it true to me with brown and neutral tones. The term “boho bride” would come to mind and I’d say it jokingly out loud but looking back, that term made me feel so comfortable to go with brown nails instead of white for my wedding day, to wear the hat and stacked necklaces and put the corduroy jacket on along with my dress by the end of the day. I’m looking back at some of these photos and I can tell that I am just comfy. So, the next time you have a big event or even just day to day… remember to do what makes you feel most “you.” It radiates.
