Meaning Mother of the river and protector of all river animals. Even today her influence can be seen beautifully displayed in the Spirit of local Carnival and Mas. Her culture represents the beauty of nature and all the lives that depend on it. Her Legacy continues to remind us of kindness and peace for all living things.
