Inspired by Bengaluru's "garden city" reputation, Terminal 2 connects passengers to nature at every step of their journey. This 255,000-square-meter terminal redefines the airport experience with landscaped spaces and rich natural materials, creating a literal oasis in the middle of the busy airport.
The main terminal, with brick, bamboo and glass cladding, features a multilevel "forest belt" with indigenous flora and bamboo pavilions, providing a calming environment for travelers.
Bridges and outdoor pathways make the experience even more immersive, while the finishes reflect the local landscape with granite, red bricks and woven rattan.
