I am overwhelmed with emotions right now, as I have only 10 days left with my son before he leaves for the US Navy. I am incredibly proud and honored to be the mother of such a remarkable young man.
Thank you to everyone who came over to support my son, show him love, and send him off with best wishes. He felt so special and loved, and I have never seen him so happy.
As he embarks on this new chapter of his life, I have to let go and trust that I have taught him well and that he is ready for this next stage.
Lucus, I will forever be your biggest fan and supporter. I am so proud to have you as my son. Mommy will always love you, my handsome boy. I’m just a phone call away. 😘
