Oh my goodness we open MOTHER PLAY tonight. Making a new piece of theater is big work and it’s not always easy. But when you have leaders like @indecent17 and @tinalandau who have endless dedication to rigor AND collaboration something like Magic emerges. I’ve felt so much joy and grief and healing making this play and I think that is because Paula Vogel is not afraid to examine her life and pain through her writing. And in doing that, everyone who comes into contact with her work can’t help but do the same. I’m so grateful to each and every person who midwifed this piece into existence with such grace, humor and dedication to making something good. Please come see us at the Hayes until June 16th!
