I found one emerging from it's exoskeleton and enjoyed watching it with my preschool students before releasing it the following day. I was surprised how large the yearly ones are after experiencing the Brood X cicadas earlier this summer. I had a few saved for my class to compare. Wonderful creatures! Have you considered creating a game based on these insects?
