When did you first feel represented on screen? We ask Black British talent across Games, Films and TV which performances stood out for them. I go far back @bafta when l saw Juanita Moore in 'The Imitation of Life' & Queen Dorothy Dandridge, in Carmen Jones l knew it was possible. Black woman in all their glory, regardless of economic status or intelligence perception should be celebrated- That is real, that is life. We all deserve to feel validated by our screen portrayals....Colourism exists and l'm so glad that Viola Davis keeps the reminder up that our beauty is our truth & not the skin tone palette cast upon us by collianialism. This is lovely 💓 but could you ask some actors over 40 too please. With maximum love & respect to you @bafta 💪🏾

ust as the Highlands were "cleared" in what is known now as "ethnic-cleansing", so too was Ireland of its Catholic-gentry. This process of disenfranchisement continued thru Maggie Thatcher's reign in Ulster, aided and abetted by BBC TV. The ethnic-cleansing of the Irish Catholic Edmund Nagle from even the footnotes of Blackadder #3 assured its writers ,directors and stars were knighted and awarded BAFTAs for continuation of 500 years of persecution and genocide. Congratulations to the Imperialists
