Meet Brian a Sacramento native who’s Dad previously owned our 1970 Rowe AMI Jukebox that just arrived last week. When Brian mentioned his favorite cocktail was the Mai Tai, we knew had to have him by for a visit to see the jukebox in its new home. Brian even grew up going with his family to local tiki establishments of old like The Zombie Hut. We had a blast, playing, tunes, sipping on Royal Hawaiian Mai Tais, and talking about old times.
In the last week we’ve become jukebox YouTube mechanics and 45 fiends. When we purchased it, the jukebox was in working order, with a few hiccups, like selectively playing B-Sides. When we got it home it got worse. After a bit of tinkering, we’re excited to say that it’s in perfect working condition and ready to be stocked with the 100 54’s it holds.
