Friends- I RANG THE BELL. 🔔 🎉🥹🏆🍾😭🙏🏼💪🙌💥 Today marks officially one week since receiving my last chemo infusion!!! Every two weeks, for the last 6 months. Total of 12 infusions. Brutal. Never ending. Miserable. Then suddenly, done 🌬️✅ I still have to do a PET scan in a few weeks to see if the cancer is all gone. But finishing my chemo regiment is something MAJOR to be celebrated! For context, in my 6 months at this busy center, I never once heard someone ring the bell 😢 I hope it was a matter of timing, and that many people did it on days I was not there. The reality is that a lot of people today live with diagnoses that are not curable, just managed with treatment for as long as possible. Given that- I’ve added the American Cancer Society to this reel, for anyone who feels they can spare a dollar today to help us make more cancers curable for everyone 🙏🏼💗 More to follow soon, I just couldn’t wait to share this with you all!
