From the moment we shared lunchbox lunches in the middle school cafeteria, I knew we had something special. We navigated our way through study hall and sought refuge in the weird art teacher’s classroom, creating our own little world. From late nights filled with boxes of kraft mac n cheese and unstoppable laughter over silly YouTube videos, to jumping on the trampoline and cleaning out the paddle boat, we’ve shared countless adventures. We even wrote songs together that should have never seen the light of day (😅😂). We’ve been through it all - from the drama of show choir to the magic of Christmas dances and prom. We’ve faced stupid boys and mean girls, always having each other’s backs. I’ll never forget the time we played with baby ducks in your living room the summer I was home from college or discovered hot yoga together, indulging in grapes in the parking lot afterwards. And those notebooks we passed back and forth, filled with your silly little doodles and our deepest thoughts, they hold a special place in my heart. Our sleepovers every weekend turned into cherished memories, and even as life took us on different paths, our friendship remained a constant. We’ve supported each other through love lost and love found, and now, as we celebrate your baby shower and bachelorette party, I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude. You’ve become more than a friend to me, you’re family. When I count my blessings, I count you twice. I can’t wait to witness the next chapter of our story unfold.
