The eastern part of Turkey is rather a mountainous region as it doesn't matter, if you are in Artvin as the most northeastern city or Hakkari as the most southeastern one in the country. Owning the pride of being the second highest peak within this region and in Turkey, Mountain Cilo is also located in Hakkari. Recently, this area has been announced as a national park and getting a lot of local and international visitors. One can witness the fascinating view of these sharp and glorious mountains with their 20 thousand years old frozen glaciers at high altitudes and blooming flowers with green vegetations on the ground at the same time.
