This Memorial Day I volunteered at the Georgia National Cemetery to help place flags on each soldier’s grave. Volunteering here is one of my favorite ways to get involved in my community because it’s where my Papa is buried and it makes me feel closer to him. The cemetery is beautiful always, but especially at Memorial Day and after we place wreaths on the graves at the holidays. If you have a National Cemetery near you, I’d encourage you to visit and get involved.🇺🇸
