How it started -> how it’s going 🎶 when I was 12 I saved up money from busking around Palo Alto, doing odd jobs, playing at pizza parlors and farmers markets with my dad and brothers, asking for Christmas money from grandparents, etc… all to go towards buying my first @martinguitar !! When I finally had saved up enough money I went into @gryphonstrings with $2000 in cash, they counted it and handed me my guitar that I played for years before selling it to a relative so that I could afford a vintage Martin 😅 luckily the guitar stayed in the family and now it’s on display at @mimphx museum where I got to see it this week during our three night stint at the theater! I remember obsessing over the guitar and even memorizing its serial number 997250… it was fun to take a trip down memory lane and an honor to see it on display among instruments played by Elizabeth Cotton, John Hartford, @daviddawggrisman and more!
Way cool!
