When I was working on this pieces, I realized that there was not many videos of this music with the score. . So I decided to create this videos and share with you this amazing music that it is included on my CD Musical Zodiac. Here you can listen and follow the score. . Probably the most beautiful music sketches are included this two volumes of Makrokosmos with the hand written scores and symbol/scores. . Let´s start from the beginning! . Makrokosmos I, 1. Primeval Sounds (Genesis I) Cancer [Darkly mysterious] (Fabio Alvarez, piano) . A light metal chain has to be dropped onto the bass strings inside the piano to to create a mysterious mood during the entire piece. . "At the opening of I/1 (“Primeval Sounds”; I/1 is the abbreviation for Volume I, piece 1), the “darkly mysterious” low chords — which emerge as a kind of indistinct rumbling — are played with the damper pedal down and “sempre pppp,” a dynamic marking on the threshold of audibility.
