One of our favorite destinations: ARUBA
The day was hot and long, but we all had a blast by the end! Getting to know Crystal and Rich and learning about their love story has been such a privilege for Cheyanne and myself. Not only did we gain fond memories, but we also gained new friends!
Thinking about eloping? Feel free to reach out for tips ;) Full video coming soon!
No rain, no flowers ☔️

You’ll see a lot more from this gallery I’m sure– Addy and Alec are one of my favorite couples I’ve worked with so far. They braved the crazy, unpredictable Huntsville, Alabama weather with me last September, and when faced with a torrential downpour they stuck it out like pure champs.
Although many fear a little unexpected rain on their wedding day, I personally think it made for some of the most BEAUTIFUL and cinematic wedding portraits I’ve shot thus far.
Also shoutout to the staff at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens for braving the storm with this adventurous couple and their crazy photographer 🤪

A farewell letter to the past and a warm hello to the future
—
I’ve thought countless times about how I wanted to make my return to posting after an impromptu (yet extremely necessary) break from social media.
Not that it needs some grand comeback speech full of inspiring words and some ode to do better in the future, but there is this slightly comical make-believe rule, urging you to explain: A) where you’ve been B) why you’ve went full ghost mode and C) how you “solemnly swear to never do it again!!!” ((especially when you run a business that’s so dependent on social media presence))
The past year has been far from easy yet so rewarding, and I found myself trapped in guilt-wrapped paradoxes for most of it. I have been on top of the world with my dream clients, dream locations, dream opportunities, yet behind the scenes have battled intense depression, anxiety, with the feeling of failure or disappointing others looming over me. ((siri play the song Lucky by Britney Spears pls)).
I know there’s beauty in both transparency and vulnerability, even if they are both terrifying and potentially risky concepts to try and implement so publicly. Time away has given me an opportunity to prioritize things that matter the most, come to terms with certain ways my brain works, and take tiny yet impactful steps towards creating what happy looks like and feels like to me.
I’ve come to realize that the most important thing to me as a business owner, a friend, and to my own human experience is the power of being brave enough to tell all stories (even the not so fun ones).
There will be a lot of changes happening here, there, everywhere regarding my personal life, my business, and the future, and I’ll share more of those soon enough.
So for now, I’ll leave you with this little snippet of my thoughts. I really have missed you all. 🤍
ps: enjoy some photos from my newfound home over the past year (swipe to end for a surprise 😉)
