Toby. 06/13/07-01-28/24 27 hours have passed since you joined Lela in heaven. As much as I didn’t want to see you in pain and struggling to walk, I thought letting you go would be easy. When Lela left us, I felt you held on to make sure I was strong enough after she left. What a sweet boy you were! Your life was about making me happy, and you were at peace as long as I was with you. I had to let you go to relieve you of pain and stress, but it was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. After being rejected by two different houses, you came into ours. They gave up on you, but we didn’t! It was the best thing we ever did not to give up on you. What a little angel you were! You were my pillow, my tail, my little white fur baby with a huge heart! You gave me unconditional love, affection, and happiness! We are so lucky that you came into our lives. I know you felt lost without Lela but you knew I needed you and you gave me 9 months of love and comfort. Thank you for being strong for me and for bringing so much happiness into our lives. This picture holds a great deal of meaning for me. It’s hard to put into words how I feel about The President “Mr. Manion.” When I first started competing, I saw this handsome, well dressed gentleman who was and still remains respected by everyone. He is a true gentleman and an outstanding leader in our sport. The manner in which he conducts himself and treats others is unremarkable. The athlete’s safety and the sport’s development are of the utmost importance to him. He just doesn’t open his arms to just anyone. He is a man of integrity, loyalty, and family values. I have been blessed to be welcomed into his family and I am grateful for everything he has done and continue to do for this sport. He told me “I was and will always be his favorite fitness athlete.” He took the time to sit down next to me and hug me. That was truly the highlight of my night because I truly love him and his family. It is the simple things in life that truly matter and I will always be grateful for the opportunities that he created for us athletes. Thank you Jim Manion! Your legacy is truly one that cannot be matched. Well!! Except for our Vice-President Tyler Manion who is doing an excellent job with our sport and following your footsteps. Today I said goodbye to my best friend! My little princess! I can’t even express how my heart hurts! I knew this was going to happen someday but I never wanted to be real! She was my first dog and I learned what unconditional love is! This was the hardest decision I had to make but it was truly the best for her. It was her time to rest in heaven and in peace. About last weekend! Nothing but good times with amazing friends! Thank you everyone who was involved in the show! This year was special and I accomplished my goal!
