Being in a community (especially church) where you allow yourself to submit to leadership and authority that God has given to the men and women of God that are over you, will only make you better. There’s a lot of refining, and purging, and a whole lot of other stuff that can be very uncomfortable. But I’m a firm believer that those who God have placed in your life are there to encourage and instruct and provide correction to your life so that you can bear fruit and walk in the purpose and plan that God destined for you #accountability #sundaymotivation #gratefulmindset #instamood

I can’t believe this isn’t really fettucine….like I’m really shocked how good this was. I’m a texture person, so if something is too mushy or just blah, I won’t eat it…and being on a fitness journey, it’s hard because sometimes you want something that tastes good but isn’t the best for you. Well, I really like pasta because it’s comfort food for me. But it’s not the best thing to have when you’re on a fitness journey, so I was really excited to discover shirataki noodles. I mean it’s only 5 calories per serving!!! I paired it with a low calorie homemade Alfredo sauce I made, and added veggies and protein. Went to the farmer’s market yesterday and grabbed some oyster mushrooms and dragon fruit for the first time to try something new….so I decided to make vegan fried chicken (oyster mushroom) that I paired with a salad and it was literally everything I hoped 🤤…..and I made dragon fruit smoothies for the upcoming week, and it’s literally like refreshing drink bursting with flavor 😊 #sundayvibes #dinnerideas #foodinstagram

Ok let’s talk about salads….not a huge fan, especially cold salads. However, I’m on a fitness journey to help fuel my body with healthful food….so I figured that I would start implementing more salads. This one is just a bed of kale, and I added some sautéed veggies (mushrooms, red bell peppers, and red onions), avocado, sliced strawberries, a few cashews, small amount of brown rice, and the spicy, lemony, sweet tofu that I left. Topped the salad off with some cilantro, lime juice, and grape seed oil 😊 #lunchideas #veganfood #fitnessjourney #healthylifestyle #fuelyourbody

Idk what you have planned for the weekend, or the Super Bowl, or even Marci Gras, but these fully-loaded nachos right here, needs to be somewhere on the menu! Because babyyyy….whew these were on point! And yes these were fully plant-based because the “meat” was made from walnuts and chickpeas; and I used cashews for the “queso”.
